Welcome To New Jersey

So apparently when you're coming out of the Holland tunnel, you don't see a "Welcome to New Jersey" sign until about 5 or 6 miles later. How do I know this? Well they don't call me Dan "The Still Image Photographic Memory Man" Lange for nothing!

So Shawn's very secretive about his sister's screen name. That's funny, because her screen name is: BLUEHORSE119

FFW (Future Filmmakers Workshop) today, where Carlos de Jesus (the instructor) ripped the shit out of our first film... telling us, in not such a cruel way, that it sucked and we couldn't do lots of what we did. Oh well.

Off to my mom's tonight, where I have massive amounts of work to do before going back to school on Monday.. urgh.

Why can't we have another week of vacation?

I just came across this on the Maplewood Online Message Board and couldn't resist posting. It's posted by a girl at South Orange Middle School, in regards to a bomb threat they had on February 11th, I believe.

What happens when the movie rental places close before you get there? You go back to Shawn's and play Trouble and Uno, of course.

So that's exactly what we did! While eating Dunkin Donuts, of course.

This time Biz was there, and the lady was asking him all sorts of questions... well maybe just one - how old are you?

Needless to say, she was surprised to hear 18.

And yes Shawn - my posts make sense to more people... like Josh Zeiring (Eni... nah, I won't just outright say what his alias is...)... he understands that quote at the top of this post! That crazy janitor...

So is there some rule or something saying that if you call for a tow truck they aren't allowed to come until at least 2 hours have passed?

So I'm driving peacefully down Maplewood Ave around 12:05 PM this morning, I get to the corner of Durand and Maplewood Ave, boooooooom, the car jumps, jolts, jerks. I pull over, get out.

"Damn it, two flat tires!" I scream...errr, say to myself. I call lots of people, Acura, etc.

I sit for over two hours. We cancel the tow truck, call a different place. They finally come get me, the car.

The tow truck drives me to the place... about 1/10th of a mile down the road from where my car had been for the past three hours. Grr...

The guy at the auto shop drives me home, I sit at home until 6:30, get picked up and go to Morristown for TeenHealthFX.com meeting.

I get back around 9ish, expecting to talk to friends and go out. I find that they already went out. I call Harry's cell phone, he tells me they're too far away to come pick me up. Double grrr...

So now my day's gone great - first two flat tires, then everyone goes out before I get home. So I sit at home alone all night, eating nothing but a slice of pizza and french fries in the past twenty four hours.

Great life, right?

And yeah - I saw Shawn's sister in town.

Shawn was wrong... I didn't get a valentine from Amanda - she threw it out because I didn't see her on Thursday... boo Amanda.

Nothing more random then hanging out with Ed, Amanda, and Patrick in NYC on a Saturday night.

So I woke up today at 8:30, having to be at Sunday School at 8:45, I rushed, got there around 9. Once arriving, I find out there is no Sunday School today. So I go home, sleep until 3:45, then wake up and here I am. Good stuff, no?

So I haven't posted in a long time. Don't ask me why... I have no good answer.

And no Sabrina Peterson - it's not because I wanted the world to see our conversation... so don't go freaking out on me again.

Just got back from an advanced screening of "Harts War." Good movie.

Also went to Ellis Island today... fun stuff, but what happened to the days of field trips where we didn't have big assignments to do about them? I miss those.

Shawn, Bec, Dan went to Weezer... I didn't. Why not?

Oh yeah, I forgot! I got accepted into the NYU Future Filmmakers Program... a week late. So excited. (Sumamente excelente!)

We had a random party in Spanish yesterday, I don't know why. We had churros, cream puffs, and other french things (Mind you, this is a SPANISH class). We also finished watching the porno movie. When she told us that she was going to turn it off, we stopped her.
